MariSol funded $500 for new soil and seeds to replant a garden at Academia del Pueblo(Central Ave & I-17). On December 1st MariSol staff members Robin Romano and Christina Floyd helped replant this garden, along with many children and mothers from the school. MariSol will be paying a Master Gardener $100 a month to come help, and teach the students, teachers and parents about how to raise and harvest the garden. The mom’s from the school will sell some of the veggies to local restaurants to help make the garden sustaining.
